Our veterinary surgeons

We have a team of five veterinary surgeons. The breadth of knowledge and experience within the team help us set the standards for excellence in veterinary care.

All of our vets only treat dogs, cats and small family pets. The days of James Herriott have been replaced by a time where medical and surgical advances make knowledge and experience across many species impossible. Within the team the vets have their own areas of interest and specialization and frequent case discussions pool that knowledge for problem cases.

Ian Hart

Ian graduated from Cambridge University in 1988 and co-founded the practice with his wife, Clare, in 1993. Ian's main areas of interest are surgery and oncology. He is studying for a certificate in small animal surgery. Outside work Ian spends as much time cycling and running as family life will allow.
