Anaesthesia

All our patients are carefully monitored both during and after their anaesthetic by a qualified veterinary nurse. Patients have the level of oxygen in their blood checked and the gases that they breathe in and out analysed. We use a wide range of modern and safe anaesthetic agents such as propofol, isoflurane and sevoflurane according to the requirements of the individual.

Some patients will have blood and urine tests prior to their operation to ensure they are fit for the anaesthetic.
